Biography

I'm a Belfast girl through and through, although at the moment I am living and working in the South of England. Growing up in Northern Ireland I always had a camera in hand and I was certainly not short of beautiful places to photograph - from the dramatic Giant's Causeway of Antrim to the pretty fishing villages of County Down. One of my photo 'treats' when I was a kid was spending the day at Belfast International Airport just watching the planes landing and taking off. Those far off days were definitely responsible for my current passion and career in aviation photography.

In addition I'm a third generation wildlife conservationist. My grandparents and parents all provided welcome sanctuary for the bruised, battered and bedraggled innocents of the wild.

Although not a specialist in one subject most of my images are indeed of aviation, flora and fauna.

I've been a recipient of wildlife photography awards from both the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the RSPB as well as several literary prizes.

My work has appeared in several UK publications including....

  • Aeroplane magazine
  • SLR Photography
  • Cat World
  • Digital Photography Techniques
  • EOS Magazine
  • Amateur Photographer
  • West Sussex Gazette
  • Sussex Life Magazine
  • Total Digital Photography
